Orla Scannell
ARTS OFFICER
Orla joined South Dublin County Council as Arts Officer in 2003, having worked as company manager of Yew Tree Theatre Company prior to this. Her role is to deliver South Dublin County Council Arts Development Strategy 2011-2015, leading staff and managing resources towards the effective delivery the Council's mission. Victoria Durrer
YOUTH ARTS CO-ORDINATOR
Victoria Durrer joined the Arts Office as the Youth Arts Coordinator in March 2008. She has a strong background in the arts and working with young people as well as in community and gallery-based work in the United States, China, and England. Her role is to help develop the infrastructure for youth arts in the county, through capacity building, strategic partnerships and ensuring there are pathways for progression for young people to participate and become professionals in the arts. She works across sectors including youth services and second-level schools.

Michael Fleming
MUSIC EDUCATION CO-ORDINATOR
Michael Fleming, is an accomplished musician, composer, performer and educator. Having classically trained in flute (Royal Irish Academy of Music) and guitar ( Royal Associated Music, London) he continued his education, achieving an M. Phil in Music and Media Technologies (TCD). Most recently he completed a Certificate in Film Scoring (UCLA in assoc. with Screen Training Ireland).
Heis an experienced teacher of instrumental music and has lectured in Music Technology and Composition at various levels, including TCD. He has designed and developed courses for FETAC, IADT Dun Laoghaire, and Tallaght and Cabra Youth Services. He has composed and arranged for the Dublin Philharmonic Orchestra and completed commissions for Lyric FM and RTE.

Gerry Horan
Sound Recording Technician, CONTACT Studio.
Gerry Horan is the house engineer in CONTACT Studio. He studied sound engineering and music technology in the Sound Training Centre in Temple Bar Music Centre. He is a founder member of the band Alphastates, who have released two acclaimed albums and a number of singles and e.p.s, and toured extensively in Ireland and Europe. More recently he has turned to composing music for film. Over the past decade Gerry has built up extensive experience in the music industry in music composition, production, performance and recording.

Colette Ryan
ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR
Colette has worked with the arts office for three years and is responsible for event support and the administration of arts grants and Individual Artist Bursary Awards and In Context 3 South Dublin County Council's Per Cent for Art Scheme.

Blaithin Keegan
ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR
Blaithin Keegan provides support to the NOISE South Dublin Project and the Youth Arts programme.
